InterKinect 2023
InterKinect is a project that collab with 7 members and created by CADRE S.O club. We have learned how to created a new type of art by TouchDesigner that allows everyone to interact with the artwork with their movements.
In this project, I created and named my work Dance. It is a project that helps the audience connect with the art through their movements. I learned about TouchDesigner to build the project map and connected it with an Xbox Kinect to help recognize the person approaching it.
Dance was setting with a computer, Xbox Kinect, Projector.
Location: Art Building, Gallery 5, San Jose State University.
InterKinect was not end as a School Project
Thanks to SubZero's invitation, our team has one more opportunity to introduce our project to the San Jose community and bring back many fond memories with this genre of media artwork.
InterKinect 2024
After experience with interact artworks, our team have learned so much thing, specially teamwork is the strongest power to turn our ideas come true. We decided to come back and turn the exhibition in a professional way. We focused in art concept for Fall semester and design the gallery with retro elements. This event quickly reach out to many new DMA students and professors.
